On holiday. You can browse, but not buy, until they're back.
Handmade pottery from beautiful East Devon.
All of my pieces are made by hand on the potters wheel. Each one is unique and made with love and care. The clay I use comes from a small clay pit in Cornwall, the clay is wedged (like kneading bread) by hand, weighed and then shaped on the potters wheel. Once each piece has dried to leather hard it is trimmed and if necessary a handle added before drying again and firing to 1000 degrees centigrade. Once the piece has gone through the first firing it is glazed using a homemade glaze and then re-fired to 1280 degrees centigrade.
