Description
A delightful French art deco teapot in silver metal by the famous goldsmith Gombault at the beginning of the 20th century.
The teapot has a very original and modern circular shape for its time with a pretty wooden handle.
Gombault was a specialist in silverware for cafes and restaurants.
The teapot carries the manufacturer’s stamps.
It is in good condition for its age though the wooden handle is a bit tired.
It is 13 cm tall, and 23 cm from handle to spout.

It really is a happy jug. It's for a gift but I was tempted to keep it. Beautiful.
