MothersAndDaughters

We are a mother and daughter duo, who make a range of handcrafted products together in our home in rural Herefordshire. Our products come in a range of shapes and sizes, from crochet and knitted hats and scarves, to hand painted cards and prints. Each item is individually crafted, and we never follow the same pattern twice! Sarah is Mother and Martha is Daughter, and we have been crafting together for as long as Martha can remember. Sarah was taught to knit by her mother Gillian, and taught to crochet by her grandmother Laura. The story goes that in the early 1900's Laura would stand in the street with her crochet hook and her cotton, copying the designs from people's curtains. Martha gets her love of illustration from her Grandfather Raymond, who enjoyed working with watercolours and oil paints throughout his life. Our mutual love of family, and the natural world marries our talents together.
