We strongly believe that change is a collective effort and that as jewellers we have a responsibility to ensure that every step of our journey with you is as sustainable as possible. Why we use recycled silver and gold Natural resource extraction has more than doubled in the last 25 years, this process takes a massive toll on the environment in which it is mined in and the people who mine the metals. There is so much of this wonderful resource already in circulation, so there is no need to use virgin metals with significantly increased CO2 emissions. We are a vegan business As vegans we know how important it is to shop with confidence, to know that our purchases are not responsible for animal suffering. It is common practice in the jewellery industry for polishing compounds, waxes and tools to be derived from animals. None of these are used at our jewellery bench or in any part of our process. Packaging All our packaging is recyclable and produced in the EU, helping us to keep our CO2 emissions to a minimum. The glues used are water-based and we don’t use foam inserts. The Fairtrade re-usable pouches are made from organic cotton. Plastic We have been working to eliminate the plastic we don’t need in our supply chain; we are not perfect, but we are working on it. Our packaging has no foam or plastic.
