Description
Baring tusks and the rest of it’s skeleton, these wild boar bones are taken from anatomical drawings and taxidermy preservations.
Please let me know which glass enamel colour you would like the bone design printed in using the message to seller box, default is black.
This little boar is made from one piece of chunky 10mm thick clear float glass that has been cut to shape using a water jet cutting machine.
It has then been screen-printed by hand in this skeleton design using glass enamel, which is fired into place making it waterproof and resistant to sunlight. All my kiln-fired pieces are carefully digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety.
Finally a small clear glass base is fused onto the wild boars hooves for stability and it is gift boxed with a story card.

Depth – 20mm / 3/4 inch
Weight – 200g / 7 oz

Wild Boars are also available as glass brooches, cufflinks and greetings cards in my shop collections.
