I’ve been an avid player of World of Warcraft for many years and I do very much recommend it; a vibrant online community, and interesting and varied world to explore and an excellent, engaging and well-written story coupled with as much backstory lore as anyone could ask for. For those who don’t play there are two opposing factions in WoW; the Alliance (comprising humans, dwarves, Draenei, gnomes, worgen and night elves as well as a faction of Pandaren, Demon Hunters, Dracthyr etc etc) and the Horde (comprised of orcs, trolls, Tauren, Undead and blood elves, as well as a separate faction of Pandaren, Demon Hunters, Dracthyr etc etc).
This coaster depicts the lion’s head symbol of the Alliance, worn on armour and shields and proudly displayed on banners. For the Alliance! I’m also now starting to roll out using metallic PLA filament in my range of designs, with this being one of the first! The gold highlights of the coaster will be printed using the usual ABS-X filament (lovely and shiny) but the body of the coaster is now available in both standard blue ABS or metallic-finish PLA, which I’ll also polish to make it extra shiny for you! The metallic version is more expensive, mainly because I’m using a much more expensive filament to print it with, but I hope you’ll agree it’s worth the few extra quid!
There is no anti-slip coating on the back of this coaster; applying one would mean that it would be less able to be used for other purposes, so to give you more of a range of options the back of the coaster remains bare. If you need an anti-slip option you can order a stick-on cork pad separately in the store and they will be shipped with your order. The cork pads are sold, coincidentally, from single to pack of 8.
