PACKAGING
My items are supplied in a pretty organza bag, secured in bubble-wrap and tissue paper and sent in padded envelopes for extra security. Larger items/orders are similarly wrapped and sent in well-sealed cardboard boxes.

IMPORTANT
Colours can be shown differently on different monitors so it is possible that the item you are viewing may appear slightly different in colour due to your monitor.

Items come from a smoke-free house.

Items come from a pet-friendly house with cats. Items are stored in a room the cats are not permitted in, however, the odd cat hair can cling to me and be taken into my craft room. If you have allergies, please take this into consideration

Unless stated, all my jewellery is silver plated alloy. I always purchase supplies that are marked as Nickel and Lead-Free. However, I cannot guarantee non-reactions. If you are unsure, please contact me as I can also supply stainless steel for some items.

Items are not suitable for young children due to small parts that can constitute a choking hazard.

ABOUT BLAQKAT
Situated in the beautiful lush countryside of Northern Ireland, I am minutes from the wildlife-rich parks and wonderful beaches and with the mountains on the horizon.

This beautiful land keeps me inspired while I create my items from my little craft room, listening to the birds singing.

I’m BK

I started this shop after I dug out a jewellery making kit I’d had for years. At the time I was feeling bored and under-challenged in my work life. Despite coming from a crafty family I felt that piece of myself had been lost when I moved out.

I practiced with tools, broke many jump rings, chased stray beads under the table and fought the cats for space! Finally I claimed a room free from my cats, organised it (reorganised it and reorganised it again) into a craft room / study.

Lo! The shop burst into existence! I love interacting with my customers as well as other sellers. I am happy to attempt custom pieces when requested. I work hard on my customer service and am pleased that everyone has always been so patient especially as I am (mostly) only able to ship once or twice a week due to work commitments.

My jewellery is mostly Pagan-inspired and mythology-inspired however I have so many charms, for those who don’t follow the path I can easily switch out the more “witchy” charms for something different.

My Privacy Policy below describes when and how I will collect, use, and share information when you purchase from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through nuMONDAY or its related sites and services.

Please note I have no access to your payment data, I am only notified of the method used and that an order has been received.

- With nuMONDAY - I share information with nuMONDAY as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under nuMONDAY's Terms of Use.

- With Service providers - I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Terms and Conditions

PHOTOS
I do always try and include clear colour photos however colour differences can occur due to different monitor settings. If you have a question about the colour/shade of any product please contact me before you purchase.

HANDMADE
Please do always take extra care with handmade items as they can be easily damaged if misused or treated roughly.

Don't wear any of the jewellery pieces while bathing, exercising, swimming or sleeping. Always put jewellery on after using perfume, lotion, makeup (not before).

With pottery, I will state if it is waterproof/dishwasher safe. If you are unsure about anything, please ask.

I cannot be held responsible for any damage caused following misuse or improper handling.

REGARDING CUSTOM MADE ITEMS
If you require a custom item by a certain day, please send me a message in the first instance to check that the item can be made and shipped within the allotted time frame. Chasing me after the fact is a pressure I would rather not have.

Also, once an item has been shipped I no longer have any control over it. In this case, I cannot give any guarantees for when it will arrive. It is always better to order an item from me in good time to allow for unforeseen circumstances in transport.

Before the final custom order is made it will need to be ordered and paid for in full. I do not offer refunds on custom made items. All costs incurred when custom orders are changed will be passed to the buyer.

GIFT WRAPPING
At this time I do not offer a gift-wrapping service.

DESCRIPTIONS
Always read the item description for all details of the item, this will also state if it is a sample photo.

In such cases of sample photos please be aware your items may look a little different from the photo as each piece will have its own unique markings/shape.

CURIO

I do not accept any responsibility for the outcome of any spell or magical practice. All items and information supplied are for entertainment purposes only. They are not intended to take the place of medical advice or imply any guarantee.

ALLERGIES
Please note that all my items are made in a smoke-free house (or pottery studio).

For those with allergies please note we are a pet-friendly house with cats.

However, while none of our animals are permitted in the craft room where the items are made (and certainly not permitted to try on any of the merchandise!) the odd cat hair can cling to me and be taken into the craft room.

I purchase nickel and lead-free supplies, however, I cannot guarantee a non-reaction. If you are unsure I can also supply some items with stainless steel or other metals.

Most of my materials are silver-plated, though anything that is Sterling Silver or Stainless steel will be mentioned.

SAFETY
All my items are designed for use by adults. They are not intended for children under the age of 16.

Many are made with small parts that can constitute a choking hazard. Please exercise all responsible caution when using them.

With items such as incense and candles, please exercise all proper precaution and never leave these items unattented while lit.

Shipping Policy

UK ORDERS
Shipped 2nd class standard for & usually arrive within 3-5 working days (but allow 14 days)

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Shipped International Standard & usually arrive within 10-20 working days (however can take up to 8weeks)

WORKING DAYS
Items are shipped on working days (Monday to Friday).

PROCESSING TIMES
Most of my items are made to order so have a processing time included, while I make every effort to post my items out within the processing times, do please allow me the full time frame.

DELIVERY DEADLINES
Need it by a certain time? Let me know before you order to see if I am able to get it out in time. Depending on the urgency, you may need to upgrade to priority shipping.

Please note I cannot guarantee the arrival of your item by a specific date as I cannot control the postal service and unexpected issues and delays can occur. All I can do is guarantee when I get the item posted out.

CUSTOM CHARGES, TAXES & DUTIES
Any customs charges, taxes & duties are the buyer's responsibility as they are at the discretion of your own country's tax regulations and are collected by your country.

Legally I am not allowed to pay these or refund for them. These charges are NOT included in the shipping price. Always make sure you are aware of any import laws and charges you may incur before ordering.

If you decide not to pay them, your item should be returned to me via the return address I put on all parcels. Please note I will only be able to issue you a refund (for the ITEM price only) once the parcel is back with me. Please understand that this can take a few months.

Customs Forms will always be marked as commercial and include an invoice. It is against the law to mark a bought item as "gift" to avoid paying any charges.

LOST IN TRANSIT
Items are not considered lost until 25 working days have passed (UK) or 8 weeks have passed (International)

Once this length of time has passed if the item has not arrived, I can either refund or replace your item. I will then contact Royal Mail to claim back the loss. Royal Mail may contact you to confirm the order was placed and confirm the delivery address.

PACKAGING
All parcels are checked by me before being well wrapped. All items come from a smoke-free and pet-friendly house. I do tend to use a mix of new materials and recycled/cannibalised packaging. So I may reuse envelopes, boxes and packaging material as long as it is "fit for purpose".

This means the outer packaging can sometimes look a little messy but all due care is taken to ensure the goods arrive safely. If however you only prefer a brand new box/envelope etc please do let me know when you place your order.

ADDRESSES
Items are shipped to the address showing on your nuMONDAY order. Please always double-check your address before ordering.
If I have a query with the address I may contact you, if I do not hear from you by the time it is meant to ship I will send to the address supplied.

Please note if the parcel does not arrive because you failed to supply/check the correct address, I will not offer a refund or replacement.

Return Policy

Please ALWAYS contact me before returning any item. A returns number will be supplied. I will then need you to confirm to me the date you shipped the item back.

ALWAYS include the words RETURNED UK MERCHANDISE on the front of the package so it gets through customs if returning from outside of the UK.

Refunds will be given within 14 days of me receiving the goods back or receiving evidence that the item(s) were shipped back to me.

Return shipping cost me is the responsibility of the buyer and this will not be refunded. The original shipping cost of sending the item out will not be refunded. (exception: unless the item was damaged or faulty).

No returns accepted after 14 days from receipt of goods.

Should an item be returned because of non-delivery due to the buyer providing a wrong shipping address; order will be cancelled and a partial refund given for purchase price of items only (no refund given on original shipping charges).

All refunds are issued in the same method they were received.

DAMAGED/FAULTY ITEMS
All care and consideration are taken when items are packed. They are all checked before being wrapped securely for dispatch.

However, should your item(s) arrive damaged/faulty, please contact me immediately (no later than 14 days) with photographs of the item's damage and the box/envelope (for claim purposes).

Should I require the item be returned, refunds will only be sent once the item is received. Refunds will include the original item cost, shipping as well as reimbursing you for the cost of returning the item.

Refunds will not be given without photographic proof of the damage & of the box/packaging. Please do not throw any of it away until everything has been resolved.

ADDITIONAL
If you are unhappy with your item or there is a genuine fault please contact me for a solution. Due to the nature of handmade items, these can be very delicate. Refunds or replacement items will not be issued for damage due to rough handling or dropping.

Refunds will only be issued once the items are returned. Please see above regarding Return Policy.

I do not offer refunds for custom orders.

For legal reasons I cannot refund you for any customs or tax charges you receive. These are collected by your country and are the responsibility of the buyer.

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS
Refunds are only given for digital downloads where these have not yet been downloaded or streamed. If the digital download has been downloaded, no refund will be given.

Full details of hardware/software requirements, as well as copyright protection for the digital downloads, will be stated in the individual listing.

Please always check carefully before purchasing any digital downloads to make sure you know the specification and are purchasing the correct one. If you are not sure, please contact me before purchasing.

If you have problems downloading, do please contact me so I can assist.

STOLEN ITEMS
I am not responsible for stolen items that have been marked as delivered by the carrier. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make the necessary arrangements to have items picked up or delivered to a safe location should you decide to go on holiday before the goods are delivered.

I will not be held responsible if an item is delivered and stolen from your front step, porch or mailbox or other common areas of delivery by the carrier.

EXCHANGES / STORE CREDIT
If you would prefer to exchange the item rather than have a refund, I can accommodate this within the same 14 days (UK / Europe) or 20 days (international).

However, the item must be of the same or less value as the one purchased. If the exchange piece is of less value, the difference will be refunded or a coupon offered for the difference in value. If it is more, the difference must be paid by the buyer before I can send the new item.

If you are not sure what item you want to exchange, I can offer you a store credit coupon for the value of the returning item. Please note a shipping charge will be incurred on the exchanged piece.

UNHAPPY
If for whatever reason you are not happy with your purchases, please do contact me ASAP so I can help resolve the issue. Also, I would appreciate it if you would let me know what you do not like so I can hopefully improve.

CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom orders are non-refundable but if they are damaged on arrival, I will replace them. I will require photos to show the damage before a replacement is sent.
