Undyed recycled sari or chiffon silk ribbon, 10 metre pack

Description

A 10-metre (11 yards) length of recycled undyed silk ribbon – choose from either sari silk or chiffon silk as shown.

The undyed sari silk ribbon varies from a very pale cream to a soft beige.
The undyed chiffon silk ribbon varies from a bright white to a very pale cream.
Variations in shade may occur within the 10-metre pack.

The ribbon is a by-product from the manufacture of sari silk; the strips of fabric are tied or sewn together by women’s cooperatives in India. Due to the recycled nature of the ribbon yarn each pack may differ, and will contain raw edges, creases and folds, knots and seams, and varying widths of ribbon (approx 3mm to 30mm if ironed flat) along its length.

The ribbon is packaged in either a resealable reusable plastic gripseal bag, to keep it clean and dry, or a paper bag – choose your preference in the Options.
