Vintage Violets Gifts are the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop and Facebook page.
When you place an order with me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from NuMonday or Stripe. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order to you, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on NuMonday, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information on to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With NuMonday to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.

All orders will be shipped to the Stripe address specified in your order after monies have been received. Your item will be dispatched within 48 hrs. I will send you the tracking details of your order so you can follow it's progress.If you require your item quickly please contact me and we can arrange for next day delivery. I will ship overseas to all countries but it is recommended that you add insurance for your order (hence the expensive postage rate) as I will not refund for lost packages or damage. Customers are also responsible for paying import taxes to their country. Please expect a 2-8 week shipment time, although I hope the postal service will deliver quicker than that.
I'm sure you will love your item, but if not, please contact me within 7 days of receiving it and I will try to sort out any problems. I realise there maybe a time where someone just doesn't like the item so I am happy to replace, exchange or refund the item within three weeks of purchase, minus the return shipping fee. When I have received the returned item in good order I will immediately refund or exchange. After three weeks all purchases are non refundable. International buyers are responsible for custom charges and if the item is returned they are responsible for return charges. Custom orders are nonrefundable due to the special nature of the item that it was made for. If something is damaged during shipping, please send me a digital picture of the broken item within 7 days of receiving it (you can email at [email protected] You will get a full refund of the cost of the item and the shipping you paid.
