Description
This cute little trinket dish is made from a special glass containing thin strings of black or red glass. I cut 1cm thin strips and alternated them before capping with a layer of clear glass. To top it all off, I added 5 blue glass ‘stringers’ radiating out from one corner. The piece has been fused twice in my kiln, up to temperatures of 795 degrees. The first melts all the glass together into a solid square, the second is over a mould to allow the glass to slump into the shape of the dish.
The mould used for this little item is a ‘mini sushi dish’.
Useful on a desk to hold bits and pieces, in the kitchen to contain dripping tea bags or spoons, in the bathroom for a guest soap, by the bed to keep your jewellery or loose change safe, or in the lounge as a candle holder. Or whatever use you would like to put it to.
It has a rounded base. There will be a discount for items posted together in one parcel. As postage is such a big expense, why not have a look at my other items and see if there is anything else you would like to include.
Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher.
