These beautiful Stag Minstrel chest of drawers have been refinished using Fusion Mineral paint in Mustard along with Annabell Duke Mineral paint in Wattle & Daub. The handles have been finished in black giving a striking contrast against the mustard.
The whole unit has then been finished with polyvine for added protection.
Although traditionally this would have been used as bedroom furniture it would look equally great in a hallway, lounge or bathroom.
The drawers all run freely as they should do and the chest is in overall great condition for its advanced years.
This furniture was built to last and it continues to do so.
I have other items of stag for sale and other items available to commission, drop me a message to discuss any requirements you may have.

I’ve been up-cycling furniture for some time now and have been replacing all my flat pack with pieces of unloved furniture some of which have been saved from the skip my home is now an eclectic mix of styles, items and colours that I love. I’ve always enjoyed creating and I find painting furniture as a way to wind down and have some me time. We now live in a throwaway society however the pieces I relove have been here for a long time and they tend not to fall apart like more modern day pieces. I can think of nothing better than finding an ugly duckling and discovering it is actually a swan. I love buying vintage furniture and find it difficult to pass up the chance of an Ercol.
I spent a long time thinking about a name for my business and the term reloved kept popping into my head combine that with thinking about offering a service to others and relove your furniture was born.
I mostly use Autentico products however have recently tried Vintro chalk paint and Fusion Mineral paints for the first time. I have no affiliation to any brand and enjoy mixing products to suit the piece. Commission work is also considered and I have return customers.
If you have some of that unloved brown/pine furniture lying around that you think needs a face lift and you don’t have the time to do it yourself or are not sure where to start feel free to get in touch. It would be my pleasure to transform it on your behalf. Quality does not go out of style however Reloved Furniture has normally been round the block and can have knocks and bumps which I think adds to the character of a piece. Therefore some age related blemishes are to be expected and furniture is not “as new”, having said that all pieces sold have been checked and repaired if necessary and are in good fit for purpose working order.
