This is an elegant twist-action ball point pen. It has been turned in English Yew, a tree reputed to have magical powers of regeneration as the tips of its branches can reach the ground and grow their own root systems. It is a tree often found in English churchyards.
The pen has a good solid feel in the hand and writes very smoothly. It uses a readily available Parker refill. The turned Yew has been finished in a durable shellac finish to bring out the beauty of the wood, and then polished to a gentle sheen.
Please note that these pens are currently made to order, but are available in a number of colour ranges. Please don’t hesitate to ask me for details.
