Description
Sheep and Magpies’ Chatter
This black sheep stands calmly while two bright magpies perch upon her. They chatter together as they go about their work, keeping her fleece clean by feeding on any parasites within. Hand painted in fine detail on a heart-shaped porcelain plaque, this little scene celebrates the gentle bonds that form in nature — an exchange of trust and usefulness.
This wall hanging is handmade in porcelain, with black and blue washes of slip. It has a glossy transparent glaze to highlight and protect this little work of art.
~ Handmade in fine porcelain, with hand-painted detail in blue and black slip
~ Measures approximately 12.5 cm across, with a gently curved organic shape
~ Finished with a pretty iridescent black-blue ribbon for easy hanging
It’s a thoughtful gift for anyone who appreciates the beauty of sheep, whether they’re knitters, weavers, crochet enthusiasts, or simply lovers of all things sheep-related.
