Rustic Coffee Table

Description

When asked to define his idea of paradise, the late, great Johnny Cash said…”Coffee, in the morning, with her”. Like us, he knew the importance of coffee. However, whether he knew the importance of having a great coffee table is another matter entirely. Luckily we do, so we are therefore proud to present to you, this pukka hand built coffee table!
This table is constructed from redwood pine and fresh scaffold boards. It is therefore a chunky, solid piece of furniture that will last for decades.
The frame of the table has been finished with a vintage white furniture paint, on top of which, two coats of wax were applied. This serves to protect the paint work and also gives of a nice satin sheen when buffed. The table top was given two coats of Rustin’s dark oak wood dye, and finished with four coats of danish oil. This also gives off a satin sheen, which is something we love about this protective sealer. The dimensions of the table are as follows:

Width: 800mm
Length: 800mm
Height: 438mm
Weight: approx 37kg

These dimensions were chosen to fit a customer’s specific requirements but like most of our furniture, we can build to a size that will suit you. This is also the case in terms of the finish, please consult the colour palette in the image section to view the available options.
This coffee table, again like all of our furniture, is built with care and fine attention to detail. Therefore nothing leaves our workshop unless it is perfect and as such, you can be certain that you will be receiving an item of the utmost quality. Upon receipt of payment, we promise to deliver your coffee table to you within 4-6 weeks…possibly sooner depending on our current workload. We will keep you updated during each stage of the process.
Thank you for looking and please get in touch if you have any questions..!

Terms and Conditions

Product aftercare:
Real wood pieces should not be placed in direct sunlight or too near radiators. Should you choose to position the furniture in these places, along with extremely dry environments such as air conditioning or underfloor heating, you must be aware this may cause the wood to warp or crack and we cannot replace items on this basis.
Rings from cups and mugs and red wine spills are a common occurrence on tables. We recommend using coasters and placemats for protection – making sure to wipe up any spills quickly to prevent staining.
Cleaning your furniture from time to time will protect it from any stains forming. A damp cloth should be used for day to day cleaning. In terms of pieces that have been protected with a furniture wax, it would be ideal to apply a thin coat once every 6 months or so. Once the wax has dried (allow 24 hours), a light buff will reinstate a soft satin sheen. Most of our pieces are finished with a hard wax oil produced by a company called Fiddes. This finish is relatively durable, but should you accidentally scuff the finish, lightly sand the affected area with 180 grit sandpaper and apply oil to the area by following the instructions on the can (using the same shade of finish).

Customised products:
If you require a customised piece, please send us a message with your design and dimensions and we will provide you with a build quote. For custom orders please ensure the measurements supplied are correct as these items are not eligible for refunds.
