Product Enquiry

We are a small and passionate team of five based in rural Leicestershire! Headed up by British artist Sarah Boddy, we take great pride in bringing her beautiful artwork to life on our range of stationery, greeting cards, textiles and homewares. All our products are carefully sourced from UK suppliers, with quality at the heart of what we do.

Our greeting cards are gradually being moved over to being sold ‘naked’ without cello bags and our wrapping paper is made from recycled paper (and can be recycled again when people are done with it!)
We source our chinaware from Stoke on Trent and hand transfer and fire each item in our on site kiln.
Our glass coasters and worktop savers are made from recycled glass in Lincolnshire.
Our beautiful and diverse designs feature Sarah’s distinctive pencil and watercolour artwork. Bumble bees, flowers and garden birds all feature, with the odd flamingo, zebra and giraffe thrown in for good measure!

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online with Sarah Boddy, (T/A The Skinny Card Company). Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

By placing an order on nuMonday you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

We are pleased to accept orders via nuMonday.
If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.

It is our aim to deliver to you within 5 working days of the receipt of your order – based on standard delivery and dispatch times within the UK. Other delivery times are available on check-out and different delivery timings apply to other regions outside the UK. In the event that we are unable to achieve this and which will delay your delivery, we will email you with an expected delivery date or the option to cancel your order.

Returns and exchanges
Sarah Boddy maintains a 14 day returns policy. Should you decide that you are not satisfied with your order, we will accept the return of unwanted goods and will refund the full price (excluding postage charges) as long as they are returned to us within 14 days of delivery and in the original packaging and in resaleable condition.
You are responsible for returning any unwanted goods to us. The item/s must be returned in the condition in which they were received – unworn, unused and in their original packaging. We will not refund any goods that have been worn or arrive back to us in any other condition than in which they were received.
Please remember to include your name, address, telephone number and order number to ensure that your refund is dealt with as quickly as possible.
It is always in the customer’s interest to retain proof of postage as they are responsible for the goods until they arrive at Sarah Boddy’s premises.

Products, prices and content
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the pictures and colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product due to technical limitations, some colours may vary. All chinaware is hand-finished and produced at our own kiln on-site. Very slight variations may occur as a result of hand-finishing.

All prices are shown in pound sterling (£).

Prices, product descriptions and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions.

Any information displayed on our web site(s) or other printed matter by the company is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our web site is updated regularly.

We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

Ownership of goods

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Sarah Boddy until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.

Shipping Policy

*UK Orders*
We ship most orders within one to two business days of your payment using Royal Mail Second Class. You can choose First Class at checkout if needed. Larger orders may be sent by MyHermes. You'll receive a confirmation email when we're shipping your order.
If you require Tracking, please contact me before you place your order.

**International Orders**
Please be aware that I am in the UK. We are happy to ship worldwide and will do so between one and two days of receiving payment.

Typically you can expect your item to arrive after around 7 - 10 days. However it is possible for delivery to sometimes take 3 - 4 weeks if your item needs to go through customs.

Delivery times are beyond my control and I can take no responsibility for delays caused by the post office or customs. Goods sent to the US, for example, take on average 2 weeks to arrive, though it can be quicker and often longer - there seems no rhyme nor reason behind varying delivery times! Traffic conditions, the weather, industrial action and volume of seasonal mail can all have an adverse affect on delivery time. Please play safe and order well in advance to take the above into account.

Please bear in mind that deliveries are often slower at busy times of the year such as Christmas. Do not expect items to arrive in less than 2 weeks as it is more likely to be 3. Furthermore, the post office will not consider an item as lost until 30 days from date of shipping have passed. In the event of your order not turning up, I can't offer a replacement or a refund until these 30 days are up.

I do not provide tracking unless requested prior to placing an order. The post office has an additional charge for tracking and not all countries have a tracking agreement with the UK. Therefore, if you require your order tracked you need to arrange this with me IN ADVANCE of placing your order. (Tracking to the US is $9.50).

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalised orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Digital downloads
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Satisfaction is guaranteed! If you're not completely satisfied with any item that you have ordered, please let us know and return your purchase within 21 days to receive an exchange or refund. Please package items the same way we sent them to you, as they are very fragile!
