I personally hand-flake the Mica to create a shimmering, multidimensional effect before carefully setting it in resin. Once hardened, the pendant is meticulously polished to a silky-smooth finish, ensuring a comfortable and snag-free wear. It is then intricately hand-wrapped in 100% copper wire, incorporating a custom bail and decorative wirework that highlights its artisanal origin. The piece comes complete with a matching cable chain and a secure lobster claw clasp, blending meticulous craftsmanship with timeless style.
Mica is believed to provide emotional stability, helping to calm anxiety and promote self-reflection. Mica is associated with the heart chakra, which is responsible for emotional balance and compassion. In ancient times, mica was used as a decorative material in jewelry and as an ingredient in cosmetics, including eyeshadows. Its shimmering appearance and versatility made it highly valued.
