The latest in my Moon Hare series of woodburnings (Pyrography) – the moon hare is running through the
daisies under a crescent moon.
Burned and handpainted on a beautiful piece of live edged Silver Birch.
Pyrography, acrylic paint and alcohol ink.
Sealed with a high quality varnish.
Size 17″ x 9.5″ (at highest end) and 1″ thick – a big chunky piece!
Pyrography or Pyrogravure is the free handed art of decorating wood with burn marks
in a controlled way – writing/drawing with fire!
Not suitable for outside use.
As with all artwork protect from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
This is a natural piece of live edged wood.
