Terms and Conditions

Disclaimers Updated on 5th August 2021 This Document will outline Loopy Lous Homemade disclaimers. Please read this document carefully. Environmentally Friendly While Loopy Lous Homemade claims to be eco-conscious, we are aware that there are things we would like to change over time to become more eco-friendly. This includes, becoming completely plastic free in the products you receive, using recycled packaging boxes, how we handle waste and how we can reduce our carbon footprint. Details on any changes at Loopy Lous Homemade will be broadcasted on our blog and in our month newsletter. Testing Loopy Lous Homemade does 3x regular tests on each batch of products. This includes testing the Hot throw (Scent while hot) and cold throw (Scent while cold). We test in a controlled enviroment with various variables to achieve maximum potential. Please ensure you follow all guidance on the wax melt safety cards and do not exceed more than 3 hour burns on wax melts or candles. Although during controlled testing we have burned longer than this it was in a controlled setting with safety equipment present. Item on the Wax melt safety card include • Only use approved burners (these are oil burners or electric wax burners) however, some electric wax burner cannot reach the heat for the product to reach full potential. Ensure the burner exceeds 65 degrees, this will ensure that you are getting the full potential of your product. • Place on an even stable ground and keep away from ALL flammables. Keeping your product out of drafty areas such as by windows and doors will help reduce the risk of fire. • Use an unscented 4-hour tealight and burn for 3-4 hours. NEVER EXCEED THIS TIME FRAME. Do not use 8-hour tea lights as the flames can be very high to the bowl of the burner. This means that wax temperatures can exceed over 100 degrees which creates a Health and safety risk. • Keep out of reach of children and pets. Wax, essential oils and Fragrance oils can be highly toxic to children and all animals if ingested. If this has been the case, please consult your doctor or vet for guidance. It is also important to note that open flames can create health and safety concerns and permanent damage if contact with the skin is made. Wax can exceed high temperatures also, if burning does occur run cold water over the infected area and call your doctors for advice. • Reuse melt until scent has gone, remove residue and replace. Loopy Lous Homemade recommends using no more than 20g of wax per burner, burning for 3 hours a time and using a couple of cotton wool pads to remove the residue once it has cooled. From testing we have found 10g of wax will do one burn and 20g of wax will do two burns, after that the scent begins to fade. • Never leave a burner Unattended. It is not uncommon for people to not follow this rule. However, it is important to highlight the danger in leaving wax burners unattended for example, if you have children who do not understand the importance of not playing with the burner/candle there is risk of self-injury and possible fire, or if you leave it near flammables and you have a gush of wind you have a risk of fire and it is known for people to burn their burners for too long or allow them to get too hot in which they have ‘blown up’. Always follow the guidance from Loopy Lous Homemade when using our products. Handmade All our wax products are combined and poured by hand. Due to this each of our products may have different scent strengths and different colours and may look different to the images shown. This is something out of our control as their may be small differences from the supplies for example, a different batch of blue dye could look slightly darker than others. All wax products are homemade including candles, wax wraps/paper, wax melts, shatters, and brittles. Other homemade products include room sprays, bath bombs, bath salts, reed diffusers and incense sticks. Products that are NOT homemade would include burners (electrical or tea light). Weddings and events Loopy Lous Homemade does offer a weddings and events product. You will need to fill out an enquiry form and send it to Enquires@Loopyloushomemade.com The overall price will depend on what you would like and how many you would like. We like to keep everyone inclusive and offer packages for those who cannot use wax melts such as children. In which we can provide sweetie boxes or other products for example. This can be confirmed upon discussion. These products will be tested throughout the making process and communication will be vital during this stage to ensure the product is how correct for purpose. A sample will be sent to confirm appropriation after this has been accepted there will be no refund available. A deposit of half the amount is payable when agreed on design for materials and then the other half is due before delivery of overall products. The deposit is non-refundable, and this process must be completed with 4 weeks left to make the product. We require 6 weeks to carry out all the necessary steps to complete this process however, if these products are needed before the 6-week period please discuss this with us as we could see how we can accommodate. This will depend on how busy we are. Wholesale Our products are available for wholesale. We offer a range of wholesale products including our range or we can create personalised and custom orders to the buyer. For example, if you owned a coffee shop and wanted coffee themed products with your logo this can be discussed. Wholesale can be purchased as a one off but can accumulate discount on reoccurring order. The products will be sold to the wholesaler at a set price, what the seller sells them for is at their discretion.
