These custom & bespoke handles/door knobs are created from waste produced from unnecessary Pat McGrath Labs makeup packaging, My idea was to turn this waste into something that is both functional and beautiful.
I didn’t want Pat McGrath Labs plastic sequin packaging to produce any landfill or end up in the ocean so I incorporated it into a range of products that is functional and beautiful.
The mould making was done with 3D printed forms I designed and created moulds, then individually selected quantities/colour palettes of the waste were then cast into the mould with resin.
The handles themselves are 60mm in diameter and the depth is 50mm, They are fitted with a 6mm threaded fixing to allow fitting to allow fixing through a surface with nut and washer to the rear of the item.
