By far my most popular print of the ‘Northernism’ series! Now in its eighth edition, it has finally had some minor design tweaks and now benefits from a superior print finish. Read below for more details

‘Northernisms’ is a series of prints that celebrates the quirks of Northern language. Consisting of phrases that may not mean anything in most of the country, but carry particular weight or meaning in the North Of England. “It’s like Blackpool Illuminations in here” is a phrase generally used by the patriarchal figure to convey annoyance that someone younger, who doesn’t pay the electricity bill, has left all the lights on in the house. A3 & A4 prints with with a professional digital print finish on 350gsm recycled ‘unicorn white’ stock, printed in Leeds. These are now in larger print editions with hand scribbled tags

All prints are shipped with a backing board and in a compostable film sleeve, and all postal packaging is recycled/recyclable. In an effort to further sustainability, I try to reuse as much of my production materials as possible; this may mean that backing boards etc may be cut from old cardboard packaging.
