Description

Our “Mr Chaucer” soap is beautifully scented of apple and cinnamon, with a rich lather that will leave your skin soft. Vegan friendly and zero waste, this colourful little bar is handmade in the city of Norwich and comes packaged in a fully compostable Natureflex™ bag.

All of our soaps are fully certified and legally regulated via CPSR and CPNP, which we are happy to provide by request.

Approximate weight per bar is at least 150g

    We have quite a few candle brands on the go in our house, so hopefully my review will help people.

    My first impression was that the candle was really well packaged in a robust white box – We’ve kept hold of the box for storage in the house, in fact I’ve just had another look at it now, 2 weeks after we removed the candle and the box still has a nice fragrance inside – I opened it up and again you could tell the candle had been treated with care, wrapped in coloured paper with some nice messages on the cards, including care instructions to get the best from the candle.

    The next thing that struck me was the wonderful fragrance that hit me, as soon as I opened the box. It smelt so much stronger than most brands we buy, so I could instantly tell the maker hadn’t cut corners with the fragrance.

    When I got the candle out, it was in a thick glass jar, which was great because it wasn’t something that felt ultra fragile and we have a toddler on hand who is more than willing to play with glass jars when our back is turned.

    Even before we started using the candle, we could still get a slight fragrance when we entered the room, which we never notice from the other candles we have. It’s not overpowering, you just notice it occasionally when walking in, which is perfect and we don’t get that with any of our other candles.

    As per the guidance with the candle, we did an initial burn of a few hours. The fragrance wasn’t very strong on the initial burn but don’t let that put you off, it did the job, we now get a beautiful and even burn from the candle and get a fantastic fragrance from it when we light it. Just what we wanted.
