Description
This beautiful, handcrafted piece fuses broken patterned vintage bone china with reclaimed pallet wood backing. It has a natural jute hanger which adds character and interest to the piece.
I broke a range of authentic vintage china plates, dishes and tea cups – BY HAND!! These are lovely – some have an iridescent finish, some with bright gold detailing, some with a textured surface. The mosaic technique contrasts all the pieces beautifully, arranged in a heart shape, with light grey grouting.
Mounted on a pallet wood base, which has been distressed and given a WHITE WASH. The wood candle shelf is the perfect size for a small candle or tea lite.
