This necklace is part of our ‘MANDISA heart of gold’ range. Inspired by my daughter Mandisa, which is Zulu/Xhosa meaning ‘the one who brings happiness’ love, goodwill, hope, (whatever happiness means to you) She is the most caring, selfless and patient person I’ve ever known, despite the hardship of growing up without me. She has a heart of gold! Being a healthcare worker myself, I’ve realised how much the people I work with appreciate what I do for them, so I decided to make these gorgeous little pieces for anyone who wants to show appreciation to the ‘MANDISA’ in their life, especially during this time we are going through. It could be your NHS worker, carer, family member, friend etc, or if you feel you deserve the heart of gold yourself, then go ahead and treat yourself!
The pieces are all handmade with high quality Japanese 11/0 seed beads. They can be made into a necklace, bracelet, earrings or just a simple brooch. Standard size is 4cm long and 3.5cm wide.
