Description

Textured minimalist and dare I say dainty (I don’t do dainty very often!) square earrings with a fun geometric pattern in gold vermeil, gold vermeil is thick high carat (generally 18 or more) gold plating, the requirement is 2.5 microns which is very durable, I plated these a little more for even better durability! The simple ear wires are gold plated over sterling silver the earrings themselves are plated over fine silver, fine silver is very pure silver, 99.9% silver versus sterling which is 92.5%.

The earrings are 2.8cm long ( just over an inch) from the top of the hook and the width is 1.1cm (just under 1/2 inch) and the drop length (from the bottom of the hook) is 1.2cm (just under 1/2 inch).

The squares are made from fine silver metal clay, if you have not come across metal clay it is fine silver particles mixed with a binder and you can use it to sculpt or texture or fold, the possibilities are endless, clever stuff, first made in silver by the Japanese in the 1990’s and now made in every metal you can think of!

Please note the bust is not quite life sized so the earrings will look a little smaller on a human head!

ALL of my items are gift wrapped!🎁
