Description

I started with a rectangle of oak for this bowl so that there would be two flat spots on each side to create a unique look. This bowl has a food-safe finish so you could use this bowl for bread rolls and stack them up high because of how deep this bowl is, perfect for a dinner party. If you prefer this bowl would still look create empty as decoration, it is large enough to be the statement piece on a table. To make this piece extra special it is made from local wood.

This bowl has a finish that is entirely plant-based that is a blend of natural oils and carnauba wax making it very sustainable. The finish is hard-wearing but when the day comes to refinish it to ensure it stays looking fresh it couldn’t be easier. I use Uulki wood wax which is inexpensive for a small pot that will last you forever and it is extremely easy to apply.
