A lovely floaty tunic top made from recycled shirts and other recycled fabrics. The pocket on the front has a pretty little bird embroidered design.
The back lower panel has little coloured bird silhouettes all over a navy background.
The sleeves are three quarter length with a colourful turn up cuff. The same fabric is used as a joining strip between the two different fabrics on the back and as an accent on the pocket to tie the whole design together.
The shirt/tunic measurements are approximately 66cms across the chest and the length is 69cms at the front and 71 cms so a touch longer at the back.
I currently live in beautiful Wales in a little village. I have 4 dogs and enjoy walking in the thousands of acres of forestry land that surrounds my home. I started sewing as a hobby and am totally self taught. I began by making bags from old denim jeans and have progressed slowly into other items and repurposing other items of clothing and soft furnishings. I have learnt many tips and new techniques by watch tutorials on YouTube. I soon had made lots of items so tried selling them at a local craft fair and to my surprise they sold and I had lots of compliments and my confidence has grown. I am now hoping to sell to a wider audience by opening a nuMonday shop.
All the items in my shop are made by me, are totally unique and are made from recycled fabrics.
