Description

Ready mixed pots of kiln fired glass enamel in a range of colours and weights.

Please Note: If you need an amount not listed or multiple pots, please contact me as the shop doesn’t automatically combine shipping and I don’t want you to be overcharged.

Choose from the following opaque colours;

Black, White, Red, Yellow, Orange, Chocolate Brown, Autumn Brown, Rust Brown, Green, Dark Green, Turquoise and Blue.

They are all intermixable and made with water friendly medium, which makes them great for painting, rubber stamps or printing, straight from the pot.

Mixed weight is the equivalent of 3 parts powder to 1 part medium.

The enamels fire at around 620-720°C / 1148 – 1328°F and are compatible with most types of glass, although testing is advised. The bead featured in the image was made from 104 COE Effetre/Moretti glass, which were painted once cooled, garaged in a kiln and fired in the flame, before annealing.

Most of these enamels are heavy metal and lithium-free, except the yellow / red / orange that contain cadmium.

Instructions are provided giving details on how to use and fire the enamels, although they are very user friendly and can be used by beginners and experienced glass artists alike.

These enamels are potted from my own supply and instructions are made by me in my studio in Glasgow, Scotland.

I also offer empty pots (150g capacity with wadded lids) to enable mixing and storage of your own custom colours and the medium these enamels are mixed with too.
