Description
Due to the wonderful grain of the Spalted Beech, each piece is totally unique.
The lovely patterns are made by fungi invading the wood and forming black lines or zones around itself to protect its territory .
The fungi is long gone but leaves a wonderful legacy.
I’ve paired the wood with lucky white heather
White heather has a special place in Scottish hearts and is known to bring good luck.
Queen Victoria noted that no clansman ever passed white Heather without plucking it.
The pendant is 4cms by 4cms approx. and is surprisingly lightweight.
It hangs on a 50cm silver-plated chain and comes in a velvet gift bag.
As I cannot replicate a pendant, the one you receive will differ slightly but where possible I will offer you a choice.
There may be some small bubbles present.
This is a natural occurrence in resin.
