Handwoven Silk and wool wrap with duck egg blue fringe

This beautiful wrap is now on sale at Godalming Museum and can be purchased there in person.
Made from beautifully soft hand spun yarns and handwoven in the UK by textile artist, Sarah McAlister.
Silk and merino wool are combined in this luxuriously soft wrap that is a unique one-off piece of wearable art.
The duck egg blue fringe has been hand twisted.
The whole piece was inspired by the photograph of the boy in the sea (gift card included).
Size: length 152 cm (plus fringe), width 41 cm
This piece was handwoven using hand spun yarns so the texture of this wrap varies along its length. Care must be taken with sharp objects and jewellery as this may get caught in the fibres.
This item may be gently hand washed or dry cleaned and instructions are included.
