A tea towel handwoven by me in a mix of cotton and linen. This makes a robust tea towel that will last for years !! It is a good size and has been hand hemmed to finish it off. A crisp yellow and white colour scheme will brighten any kitchen.
I have already machine washed this tea towel and it will survive many many more washes.
I am a handweaver living in the south-west of Scotland, producing limited editions of luxury scarves and shawls for ladies and men.
My loom is a Schacht Baby Wolf with 8 shafts.
My yarn of preference is always fine silk and merino silk.
The inspiration for my weaving usually comes from nature and is very often water-based and I find the ever-changing colours and patterns fascinating as the weather and seasons change.
I like to weave every day fine silk scarves, woven in a variety of classic and traditional patterns and colours.
I also weave a selection of soft, warm merino silk scarves for ladies or men. Different colours and patterns using merino silk yarn.
I weave in a pet free and tobacco-free home.
