This beautiful coat rack has an elegant rustic charm, bringing quality and a unique design to your home.
I have restyled this vintage door by adding an ornate wooden cornice top, 3 sturdy cast iron hooks and a chalkboard for those little reminders!
The piece has been painted in Presiman Misty Morning with Annie Sloan Old White chalk paint and then carefully distressed in a country cottage style. Finally I have applied Annie Sloan dark wax to enhance the pretty carved detailing and for protection/ durability. All racks come supplied with hanging brackets, screws and plugs for easy fixing.
Height (total) 850mm

The aim of my business is to upcycle vintage furniture and to reclaim wood where possible to design and produce bespoke items that my customers will appreciate for their beauty once again. Through the process of upcycling, I am taking an item that may have gone out of fashion or lost its ‘sparkle’ and re-inventing it so avoiding the problem of waste cycling and the environmental issues related to this. The beauty of working with such a diverse range of reclaimed wood and furniture is that each piece can be made totally unique and is, therefore, one of a kind and hopefully a conversation piece for my customers.I have spent many years restoring my cottage which was originally a barn and as a consequence, I have found a love for the rustic French country cottage style of decoration and furniture. Over the years I have filled my house with an eclectic range of different pieces of furniture that I have bought and refurbished, my shop is now an extension of this passion. I only source good quality solid furniture that has character and that I would love in my own home, thus some things never make it to my shop! I take great care in painting, reinventing and distressing these pieces so that each piece is refurbished to the quality I would expect myself.
