The Hamsa is an ancient Middle Eastern symbol that holds a variety of meanings across cultures. Despite the different thoughts about what it offers it is regarded by all as a protective talisman that brings good fortune, health and happiness. The five points of the hand are thought to correspond to energy points on the body and to the elements. It is believed to bring protection to the recipient, repelling negative energy away from them. Hamsa is also known as The Hand Of Fatima.
