Cool green ferns adorn this pretty little handmade dish, bringing to mind a shady woodland and time to relax. This bowl will be so useful in the kitchen to show off ripe tomatoes, on the coffee table with some sweets for nibbling or in the bedroom to hold your jewellery overnight.

Created by stencilling with dark green powdered glass onto a clear and streaky white square of glass and using light green on a clear sheet, they are stacked together in the kiln and fired to almost 800 degrees. When the piece has cooled, it is fired again on a ceramic mould which allows the glass to melt enough to slump, taking on the shape of the mould.
I can use this design on any of my other shapes and sizes of moulds. Please contact me for details.
