Description

This glass tea light holder is perfect to sit on your window sill, or on your dinner table. Made with iridised hot pink coloured glass, and then hand decorated with clear frit to add texture – the glass shimmers with rainbow iridescence, like oil on water. It changes in different lights and different angles. It is a gorgeous shade of fuschia

These handkerchief tealight holders are handmade – each square of glass cut indivdually, then frit is placed by hand, carefully avoiding what will the base, so it will sit flat. The pieces are then fused and fully annealed in one of the specialist, digitally controlled, studio glass kilns, before going back in to the kiln a second time to be slumped to create the draped handkerchief effect. There is little control over this process, the the points sometimes are different. Each tealight is totally unique both in terms of decoration, and shape. The finished item is approximately 9cm tall and 10cm wide in both directions (it fits in a 10cm box!). Tealights are supplied with a safety battery tealight. You can use wax tealights in these, but please ensure the candle stays in it’s cup, preferably one of the glass or plastic ones, but never use a candle on it’s own, and never leave a candle unattended.

These items are handmade in my studio in Derbyshire, there is a large range of colours available.

Shipping Policy

I aim to despatch all orders (if the item is in stock) within two working days of cleared payment. If an item is made to order, I will give you an estimate. I use Royal Mail First Class unless otherwise stated or requested.

Return Policy

I want you to be happy with your purchase! You can return it within 7 days of receipt; just notify me as soon as possible. I am happy to rectify any problems, and I offer a full refund (less shipping fees), provided it arrives back with me in the original condition. If you would like to cancel an order please notify me as soon as possible quoting your sales reference or the names of products purchased. If the item has already been dispatched you will be charged the shipping fee. When returning an item please include a copy of the invoice or a detailed list of the names of products purchased. Until the item reaches me it remains your responsibility. I suggest you use a postal service which will insure you for the value of the items. This does not affect your statutory rights.
