Fox hood, made to order, in any size from 12 months to adult. These super chunky hooded cowls are fabulous for the coldest of winter days. I will be making this hood to order and it will ship in 2-4 weeks.
To make these I use an alpaca/wool blend yarn as standard. This yarn is very cosy and lovely and soft. I also offer a cotton option as standard for vegans and allergy sufferers. Please not the cotton yarn is not as string a orange as the alpaca blend. Please message me for photos of the cotton before ordering. They can also be made in an alternative natural fibre blend yarn, please convo me for info or mention it at checkout when purchasing through the above link.
These can be made to order in any size from 12 months up to adult.
These can also be made to order in alternative colours of your choice. Please state at checkout what colours you would like. I will then message you via email within 48 hours to discuss your order. Please check your email for notification of this. Further info on custom orders can be found in my terms and conditions. If no comment is left at checkout then I will make your hooded cowl in the standard fox colour. Please note occasionally I may have to source an alternative yarn and so the colour may be slightly different. If this is the case I will send photographs before working on your order.
At Indigosky2Knit I have a preference for using natural fibre yarns and often use wool content yarns. If you prefer non wool or plant based yarns please state this at checkout as I can source both hand dyed and plain cotton and bamboo yarns, as well as other plant based fibres.
This hood will be crocheted by me using the Flint Fox pattern from The Velvet Acorn here on Etsy.
Other fox creations are available throughout my nuMONDAY shop.
Other hoods and hooded cowls can be found throughout my shop www.numonday.com/shop/indigosky2knit
All Indigosky2Knit items are made in a smoke free, pet friendly environment
I am the owner and founder of Indigosky2Knit. I have been knitting since my eldest sister announced her first pregnancy when I was just 7 years old. I2K was first conceived as an idea while I knitted for my own first baby 24 years later.
Hi I am Davina and I own and run Indigosky2Knit. I opened amost 6 years ago on April 17th 2012. I live in the gorgeous market town of Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire with my gardener husband and 3 kids.
I love knitting and have over 30 years experience under my belt meaning I offer quality items you can trust. I rekindled my love for knitting in 2009 when my own first baby was born. I decided shortly after my second came along in 2011 that it was time I started making for others too. After making a couple of gifts for friends they exclaimed how lovely everything was and encouraged me to set up and sell some of what I make.
I am passionate about getting yarn crafts appreciated for the work involved and have a preference for natural fibres. With this in mind most of my items are made with little synthetic fibres, although they are good for hard-wearing footwear items and easy care kids clothes. In particular I avoid solely acrylic yarn as it is highly flammable and is best avoided for baby and children’s items. I am however, aware of various needs like offering vegan options and allergy sufferers, so if you see something you like but would prefer it made with cotton or bamboo then please just let me know!
As a cloth nappy user I’d discovered a love of pure wool, which makes excellent nappy covers, adorable clothing you can use over a cloth nappy, but that keeps your baby dry too. I therefore make and offer information and support on using wool nappy covers.
I have a love of natural fibres, and especially hand dyed yarns. I make many items to order so you can choose to have things made exactly as you’d like them, colours, styles, everything. I run an Etsy store where I take most of my orders.
I absolutely love making squishy woolly things for others. It is my aim to make hand knitted items affordable for all, so if you’re on a budget I’m here to help.
I originally started out in April 2009 with just a Facebook page, which cn still be found here at www.facebook.com/indigosky2k, but as of January 2014 all orders are taken exclusively through Etsy (www.indigosky2Knit.etsy.com). There are custom slots listed for all items and more added as and when I complete items. There is also a collection of ready made items. If you see something made previously and would like me to replicate it then please just drop me a message here or on Etsy. I Am willing to make anything on a Your Yarn My Needles (YYMN) basis including adult clothing, please just convo me for availability of slots if there are non listed on the shop.
