Description
This is a top quality fountain pen made from Arizona desert ironwood (Olneya Tesota) which is one of the rarest, most beautiful and most expensive timbers in the world. It is the only species in the genus Olneya, it has no close relatives and grows exclusively in the Sonoran desert straddling the Arizona / Mexico border. Only fallen wood can be collected by licenced individuals and can not be cut from trees. This particular piece has some beautiful swirling grain patterns.
The pen can be used with either the supplied reservoir or an ink cartridge (one is supplied with the pen). The nib is Iridium and made in Germany.
