This framed picture features an everlasting bouquet of spring flowers in shades of yellows and blues – think daffodils and bluebells! Give a gift of flowers that last forever!

These floral art pieces are created in several steps. First, the background stems are hand-painted with glass enamel and go into the kiln to fix the enamel. Then, inspired by methods of putting together displays for a few years working as a florist, this is decorated with hand placed individual pieces of frit (glass granules), carefully selected for size and shape. A piece of shaped clear glass is added to represent the vase. These squares are then fired to a textured fuse in one my specialist, digitally controlled glass fusing kilns and annealed (cooled in a controlled way) for strength and durability. It then goes back into the kiln for a third time to attach the smaller piece to the base glass, which is usually subtly shaded with background colour to add a bit of extra depth and dimension.

The frame:

In black, it is made from ‘polcore’, a recycled material to bring out the bright florals.
In wood, this is pine, stained with oak bri-wax to bring out the grain in the wood and warm tone to match décor.

The frame can either be wall hung, or because of it’s depth, it will stand freely. The frame aperture is approx 13cm square and 2.5cm deep (5″ x 1″)

All pieces are unique and made by hand in the studio in Derbyshire.

Shipping Policy

I aim to despatch all orders (if the item is in stock) within two working days of cleared payment. If an item is made to order, I will give you an estimate. I use Royal Mail First Class unless otherwise stated or requested.

Return Policy

I want you to be happy with your purchase! You can return it within 7 days of receipt; just notify me as soon as possible. I am happy to rectify any problems, and I offer a full refund (less shipping fees), provided it arrives back with me in the original condition. If you would like to cancel an order please notify me as soon as possible quoting your sales reference or the names of products purchased. If the item has already been dispatched you will be charged the shipping fee. When returning an item please include a copy of the invoice or a detailed list of the names of products purchased. Until the item reaches me it remains your responsibility. I suggest you use a postal service which will insure you for the value of the items. This does not affect your statutory rights.
