Little Shed Creations is part of Evolution Tech Services Ltd. I set up Evolution Tech Services Ltd in March 2013 as an Engineering/Product design business ran from a garden shed. Over the last few years it has grown steadily until March 2018 when the opportunity arose to expand into non-metal laser cutting and move into larger premises. In June 2018 we decided that the Engineering and the laser cutting should be separated so it was decided to split the company and my wife came on board on a voluntary basis to help with the laser items and painting/decorating. We named this new half ‘Little Shed Creations’.
We named the brand and designed the logo to tell a story and represent us. ‘Little Shed’ refers back to the roots of the company and the early years in the little garden shed in our back garden ‘creating’ designs and coming up with many of the ideas we sell today. The logo shows a silhouette of a man and a woman reaching up to a heart representing myself and my wife and our love. The flowers in the logo again refer back to our roots.
The laser cutting and some of the design work within Little Shed is my role, my wife does the decorating, design work and advises on trends or upcoming seasonal items while also being a full time carer working in a home for Alzheimer and Dementia sufferers.
This year has seen our youngest daughter (15) getting involved with some of the items we sell coming from original sketches that she has drawn.
