Named after the Scottish village of Ecclefechan, this tart is fast becoming a favourite at Farmer’s Markets.
Mixed vine fruits & walnuts are baked in a rich mixture of butter, muscavado sugar and egg to give a luxurious decadent tart.
Would make an excellent alternative Christmas pudding for those that want something a little lighter.
Yummy either warm or cold, served with cream or ice-cream!
Ideal as a dessert or tea-time treat.
This listing is for an 8″ (20 cm) tart, which will cut into 6 – 8 good portions.
