A lovely driftwood beach hut scene made from bits of driftwood, rocks and dried seaweed picked up from the beach in Menorca and the Canaries that has been mounted in a box frame. A unique one of a kind piece of artwork.
I always collect driftwood while abroad on my holidays from the beach and use it to make driftwood cottage ornaments . I love that each item is unique as no piece of wood is the same.
The box frame is white and measures approx – 25.5 x 25.5cm and is 4.5cm deep.
The beach huts are made from reclaimed wood strips and painted in Duck Egg Blue and White. Each beach hut roof and door has been made from slithers of wood that have been waxed.
The beach huts are mounted on a knobbly driftwood branch and various stones, coral and dried seaweed.
The whole scene has been mounted on watermark paper and placed inside a white mount. There is a perspex glass front.
The item is wrapped in bubble wrap, card and brown paper for posting as a Signed For Parcel.
