These pouches have 8 pockets on the inside, surrounding a larger middle pocket. You just pop a piece of jewellery into each pocket then pull and secure the drawstrings. Your jewellery is now protected from bumps and scratches.
Really useful for holidays, business trips and moving home. They are light enough to go into your handbag so you’ve always got it close.
I make each one different so you always have something unique. This one has a cotton outer printed with cats, black satin lining and purple satin drawstrings, finished off with white buttons. .
I started sewing after my partner suddenly became disabled and virtually bedridden. We spent a long time in bed with him randomly drifting off to sleep leaving me with a lot of time on my hands. I found that I took to sewing very quickly and soon started using a machine. That year I made all of our Christmas presents which ended up with my family asking for me to make them more things.
As my partner’s condition settled down he was able to be more active, leaving me more time to do more sewing.
He now helps a little with my paperwork as he’s able so that when I get home from work I can get straight to the sewing machine.
