A knitted flowerpot with wild roses and daisies. Can be used as a doorstop or a flower arrangement for your house or in the garden without fear of it blowing over and no need for watering.
An easy and quick project to knit and would make a lovely gift.
Materials Used
Flowerpot – Stylecraft Special Chunky – 100 gram ball of Copper (1029)
Large Wild Rose – King Cole Dollymix DK – 25 gram ball of Surf Blue(143)
Small Wild Roses – King Cole Dollymix DK – 25 gram ball of Sky (005), Purple (236), Orange (144), Peach (059), Pink (006) Candy (040), Salmon (174)
Daises – Red Hart Lisa DK – 50 gram ball of White (0208), Yellow (0184), Farn Green (5689)
Knitting Needles
1 pair of 5.00 mm (UK6-US8)
1 pair of 4.00 mm (UK8-US6)
Approx. 1 kg of Small Stones/Gravel Chippings (used to weight the lower part of the flower pot)
Polyester wadding or toy stuffing (used to fill the rest of the flower pot)
5 mtrs of Strong Wire
All can be found in hobby craft stores and garden centres
