I will design and make a label or bookplate for you, to match your LizzieMade book, whether it is ready-to-ship or custom-made.
It will be printed on quality paper, to suit the book’s materials. You can choose the wording, font and colours used. The label can have a printed or hand-inked border, or not, as you choose.
I can mount, or double-mount it on a piece of art paper, decorative paper or fabric (cotton/linen or silk), to match the materials used for the original book (see pictures for examples).
Mount can use designs from the same paper or fabric as the covers, or be made from plain art paper(s), in a colour(s) of your choice.
It can be fixed to the outside of the cover, or attached to the first page on the inside, like a bookplate.
Dimensions will depend on the design, as each label and its mount is individually designed.

Also, if you have ordered more than one book, let me know which book(s) should have the label attached.

LizzieMade Hand Bound Books is run by me, Liz Gillum, from a studio in Bedfordshire.
I am a book-binder and have been selling my hand-made books for a number of years. There’s something about Paper that I have always found alluring and fascinating.
Discovering how to create books was exciting for me. I love the process of designing and making a book, from just a pile of paper, leather and fabric, to the finished item.
I also love to have the input of my customers, to design and make them something extra special, for their wedding, party, christening, or just to keep and use for themselves.
To know that a piece of my work – one of my books – is loved and appreciated by other people – even those I have never met – all over the world, is a wonderful feeling. To produce something that is special, just for that person, is amazing.

*** I ship worldwide. Items are shipped as quickly as possible, once payment has cleared.
*** I will use first-class post for smaller items and will keep a proof-of-posting receipt. However, if you wish me to, I can use a tracked delivery service, for an additional cost.
*** Please allow up to 1 week for UK shipping, up to 2 weeks for Euro-zone and 4 weeks for shipping to the Rest of the World, including rest of Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. If you live in a less accessible area, or you know that shipping takes more time, do allow for this when you place your order.
*** I use Tracked Airmail Delivery for all Guest Book, Album and Custom Orders, also larger journals and leather books. The delivery targets are between 1 and 7 days, depending on the location.
*** If you wish me to ship your smaller Ready-to-Ship order by Tracked delivery, this can be done, for an additional fee (currently around £2 - £10, depending on size and weight of item).
*** Generally, deliveries to UK and Europe take less than a week, to USA/Canada around 7-14 days; however, items shipped outside UK are subject to local Customs laws and may be delayed, if Customs in the receiving country wishes to inspect the package. Therefore, I suggest allowing a further week or two, to ensure your item reaches you in plenty of time.
*** Please be aware that countries have their own rules about import of goods. Your Customs department may impose an Import Charge on your package. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay any charges levied. LizzieMade can not predict or be responsible for these charges. If you wish to be certain that there will be no import tax, I would recommend checking your local regulations before purchase.
*** Cancellation - You can cancel an order and get a refund from LizzieMade within fourteen days of receipt of the item, provided the item has not been used. Faulty items can be returned within six months of payment being made.
*** Standard Distance Selling Regulations returns policy applies to all ready-made items, except when a customised label has been purchased and attached to the book, or other personalisation has been made. If an item has been personalised it is then not eligible for return, unless it is faulty. However, if there should be a problem with your order, do contact me and I will do my best to resolve it to your satisfaction. Similarly, commissioned items can not be returned unless there is a fault.
*** Return Postage - For returned items, you will bear the cost of return postage, except in the case of faulty items, when your postage will be refunded to you. If you wish to cancel your order and/or return an item, please contact LizzieMade for information. You may request a Returns Form, however you are not required to complete one if you do not wish to and not doing so does not affect your consumer rights.
