Description
Natty Peeps likes to recycle, up-cycle and re-use. These traditional rugs are hand-crocheted from pre-loved clothes, which are cut into fabric strips and then crocheted. This kind of rugs are common around the world, from Northern-Europe, to Cyprus and Northern-Africa to Australia. I grew up with rugs like these, my grandmother and mother made them as did I. We made them also from old plastic bags for the wetter rooms of the house, like the Sauna. There are some in my mothers house well over 30 years old. Each rug is unique and special. They are suitable for any room of your house. These rugs can be made to order in different colours and sizes, please contact us to discuss.
Material: Re-cycled mixed fibres
Size: length between 85-90cm, width between 52-56cm
Care: machine wash 30-40 degrees, low spin to dry

This pair of beautifully hand-crafted felt letters brought a lot of joy and sense of identity to both of my children as they rushed to display them proudly on their rucksacks while packing for our staycation in the summer of 2020. I am sure these keyrings will also accompany them on their way back to school once the time comes to pack the school bags and safely go back to school. Thank you so much for such a meaningfully upcycled gift! What an endearing and no doubt an enduring part of our family! Thanks also for the lovely tulips photo attached – a greeting card like no other!
