To personalise your urns, you need to purchase one engraving for each urn you want engraving. Engravings cost £5.99 each and have to be purchased as well as the urn(s). We can engrave a maximum of 51 characters on your urn(s) and you can choose from Arial or Monotype Corvisa (a ‘scripted’) font. Be advised that scripted fonts look ‘bunched up’ the more characters that are used. Our coloured urns can also be engraved and dark coloured urns will be engraved in silver rather than the usual black. Urns are available in Silver, Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Purple and Red.
To add engraving(s) to your order, search nuMonday for “KGS Engraving” and you will be taken straight to the listing where you can purchase them. Don’t forget, you need to buy urns and engravings.
Finally, contact us on nuMonday with your order to tell us what text you want engraving on your urns (we can do hearts if you want them).

Discreet, and secure, the urns are 1 3/4 inches tall (see size comparison photo). Each urn has a small clear vial inside to hold a small amount of ashes. Carry a permanent memorial to your loved one or beloved pet. The silver urn is made of Anodized Aluminium and is sturdy and made to last forever. The urn unscrews to reveal the storage chamber. Inside is a vial to keep the ashes safe and dry. A rubber gasket on the screw-on cap provides a waterproof seal and a quarter turn with pliers makes it even more secure. The urns are strong lightweight enough to carry every day.
Some sellers tell customers to seal them with super glue. We advise our clients to think carefully about this it makes it impossible to look at the contents ever again.
Hello. My name is Ken Slater.I always had a creative side and taught myself to play bass guitar as a youngster (1000+ shows played now). I also drew quite well and created menus and posters for shops amongst other ‘artistic’ things.I have had two professional careers. When I left school, I had many options and actually had three jobs to choose from without having an interview! Can you imagine that now? Anyway, I lived in a town called Walsall in the West Midlands UK. Walsall is best known in the world for its Leather Industry and I became a Royal Guild Apprentice Saddle Maker upon leaving school. I was in the trade for 25 years as an apprentice and master saddler. In the 80’s I became interested in the then new Home Computing craze and eventually taught myself to program in three different languages. This hobby took over me and I decided I wanted to do something in IT and Computing. I took some qualifications as a mature student and a chance meeting with a lecturer friend led to me teaching an evening course in Programming. One course became two, then three and the Head of IT asked me if I would like to become a full time lecturer. She said the college had enough faith in me to pay for my teaching qualification which I could take part time. I had also almost finished my Computer Science Degree in The Open University by this time and I gained it within six months of becoming a lecturer. So why am I selling Cremation Jewellery on Etsy now? After 25+ years of teaching (and becoming older), my diabetes was becoming worse and in particular, my foot health is poor. I have had surgery and have a condition called ‘Charcot Foot’ which deforms the foot to varying degrees. I am not disabled by this and can walk fine albeit with a limp. So time came when I had to take the decision to quit teaching as I needed to be on my feet less.I spoke to my best friend who is actually American and lives in Tampa, Florida. He deals in Cremation Jewellery as a business across many platforms and offered to send me my first stock and show me how to setup an online shop when I got to his place for our annual family get together. So that is how my business and shop was born out of necessity as stated in my story headline. KGS Timeless Memorials has stood on its own now for two years and I design and assemble all of my items from constituent parts bought from all over the world. My creative side came to my rescue!!Ken & Kate SlaterKGS Timeless Memorials
