This relief or plaque is totally hand made from start to finish. I originally sculpted this in clay onto slate, made a mold from it and then cast in bronze, brass & aluminium resin.
These plaques will look great hanging on any wall in the house or can be displayed outside to brighten up your garden or patio.
Cold casting is a process using resin mixed with metal powders such as bronze, hence the term (cold cast bronze).

Hello I’m Joel. I was born into a family of artists and have the need to create built into my genes. I started my working life as an apprentice rocking horse maker on a YTS scheme back in the 1980’s and did this for around 15 years making wooden animals and rocking horses and repairing antique furniture. This past few years I have discovered that clay is far easier to work with than wood and so am enjoying making these plaques.
I work from my basement at all hours of the day and night and would love to get busy enough to give up my current day job which I unfortunately need to do to pay for my large family :-)

Terms and Conditions

All of my items are completely hand made from start to finish. Given this, colours may vary slightly from the pictures you see but I do try to keep them accurate to the pictures listed.

Shipping Policy

UK - Postage within the UK is Free and I can usually post next day but certainly within 3 days.

Overseas - I try to charge just what it costs to send my items overseas and no more. Sending items overseas varies a lot in price (e.g. from the UK to Europe is a lot cheaper that from the UK to the US) I may make partial refunds or ask for further payment depending on the actual cost of shipping.

Return Policy

I accept returns for whatever reason within 31 days. Buyer should contact me first regarding any problems and to advise that the item is being returned. Buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Buyer must obtain, and keep, a proof of postage when any item is returned to me, otherwise a refund will not be able to be processed.
