Traditional stained glass panel made using methods unchanged since medieval times.
Dimensions approx. 6 inches by 6 inches
The glass fragments are hand painted before being fired in a kiln at temperatures of around 650 degrees centigrade. This results in a design which will never fade. The yellow colouring on the bee is achieved by using silver stain and firing at a lower temperature.
The glass fragments are pieced together using cut segments of lead came which are soldered together. Putty is then forced between the came edge and the glass to seal the item and make it weatherproof.
The panel can sit on your window sill, be incorporated into a window, door or fence etc. It can be kept outdoors all year round and is completely frost proof.
HANGING LOOPS CAN BE ATTACHED IF REQUIRED AT NO EXTRA COST
