Book with secret compartment

Description

A rare opportunity to acquire a unique book with a hand-made secret compartment. I took my inspiration for this book from a very old book found with similar cut-out compartment and used to hide jewellery or other items of value. From the outside this looks just like an ordinary Thesaurus. Flick through the first 76 pages and it still looks like an ordinary Thesaurus. The hand-cut compartment measures 8.7cm wide x 17.5cm long x 2.4cm deep. The hidden compartment is lined with beautiful PayHembury hand-marbled paper.
The secret compartment took a LONG time to make and was very fiddly, so it’ll be a while before I attempt this again… If you like the book, it’s now or never.
