Tone: Leather has a soft flexible feel making it very suitable for strumming and giving it a warmer tone. Leather is often used for Bass as it gives a Skin Tone whilst picking. Horn has warm rounded tones. Coconut and Indian Teak are slightly harder and thus more bright.
