A downloadable (PDF format) counted cross stitch chart of an Avro Lancaster Bomber. This aircraft (Vera) is a flying memorial to Andrew Mynarski VC (Victoria Cross) who sadly died while trying to save another member of the crew of a Lancaster Bomber during World War 2.
The finished project will be 20 x 12.9 inches when done on 14 count Aida, having 266 x 170 stitches and using 37 colours of silks.
This item is a Cross Stitch Chart, contained in a downloadable .pdf file, which you will need a copy of Adobe Reader (FREE download https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/ ) or similar, to access and print off. It includes:- A computer generated chart, printed over several A4 pages with black and white symbols. A shopping list showing Thread Key with the quantity of DMC skeins required. Chart layout with a colour ‘virtual’ picture of what the finished project will look like.
You will need Aida/Zweigart, which should be at least 2 inches bigger, on all four sides, than the stitched area of the pattern, to allow for framing. Silks and a needle to complete this project.
